I've racked my brains on what to write in this about section. It feels a bit like when you start a new job and have to stand up at the front and tell five facts about yourself, so apologies if this is a bit all over the place haha!
I want to start of first by saying that Rosavena is built on the ethos that every person on this planet deserves to feel beautiful and confident in their own skin- and over the last 6 years I've strived to create a safe and welcoming environment that ANYONE and EVERYONE is welcome <3
So my name is actually Bobbie, not Rosavena- Rosavena is the name of a lip balm from my Great Great Grandmothers Cosmetics Company in the early 1900s (my branding is also inspired by hers). Her company was called 'Beatrice Endsleigh Coy' which, when abbreviated is simply 'Be Coy' - a nod to the Victorian view that makeup should be subtle, barely detectable- which funnily enough is probably the part I enjoy most about cosmetic tattooing, making subtle enhancements that look super natural!
I first took the leap and went self employed back in 2019 as a nail artist. I specialised in BIAB, Apres Gel-X and creating some of the loudest, over the top, 'Trashy' nails I could think of (heaps of fun!). Trashy (my lil brand) was soon booked up and I found myself fortunate enough to work with some huge brands, creating nails for campagins. I would do nails for anybody and everybody I could, never once did it feel like a days work! I was incredibly lucky to have such wonderful clients.
However, as much as I enjoyed nails, cosmetic tattooing was always the end goal for me. I have often been asked why I havent gone into the tattoo industry, and whilst I have enjoyed working in studios and have a keen interest in tattoos- the beauty industry is my real passion. But to be able to combine the two industries- my perfect job!
Eventually I was able to train in cosmetic tattooing and here we are now -living the dream.
As for myself, I've prepared my five facts hahah.
I have only just got back to the UK- I was living in Mooloolaba (Australia) till the end of last year. I love hardcore music with a passion and love to get involved in the DIY music scene. Amyl and the Sniffers or Kublai Khan TX are forever on repeat. Fascinated by family history, tattoo history & local Pompey history. I love going to the football. Daffodils are my fave flower.

Hope to see you soon! Lots of love xx
